What is the Bond Fee?


NEW FOR 2017/18 SEASON:

 

VOLUNTEER BOND

To encourage all Association members to become actively involved in the operation of and the overall success of the Association

 

Rocky Minor Hockey is introducing a Volunteer Bond. We will require a $200 for the first child registered with Rocky Minor Hockey and $50 per Child thereafter.
Every player is required to submit a pre-authorized payment form in the amount of $200.00 for the first child registered with Rocky Minor Hockey and $50 per Child thereafter to cover the bond for the upcoming season.

This must be done prior to evaluations.

The Board of Directors maintains that the Association is only as successful as its volunteers and wants to encourage its entire membership to be actively involved in the operation of the Association

 

 

PURPOSE:

To encourage all Association members to become actively involved in the operation of and the overall success of the Association

OVERVIEW:

Many of our Association members are unaware of just how much volunteer work is necessary to operate and administer a Hockey Association.

This Program is being introduced to encourage all Members to step forward and help. The Time commitment is not unreasonable and the the help is beneficial and appreciated.

Participation in the Volunteer Bond Program is a Mandatory component of registration with the association.

 

BOND AMOUNT:

$200 for the first child registered with Rocky Minor Hockey and $50 per Child thereafter, fee will be included in Registration Fees as voted in at the AGM

 

REPORTING RESPONSIBILITY:

It is each family’s own RESPONSIBILITY to meet the Volunteer Bond Program Commitment and ensure that their hours are reported to Association accurately.

HOW TO FULFILL BOND REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 15 Hours of volunteering per player. Teams manager will be in charge of assigning positions on each team.

Examples of Volunteering Possibilities:

Apparel position

Fundraising Position

Equipment manager

Data Entry for Team (game sheets)

Scorekeeper/Timekeeper   1Hours = 1Game

In charge of Jerseys (taking to games and cleaning)

Set up Boards (Tyke and Dynamite)

Tournament Volunteer hours

Casino Volunteer

Oilers 50/50

Other positions and duties as approved and voted on by the Executive and Board of Directors.
