Executive
Meeting

Al
Adams called
the meeting to order.
There was no
treasurer’s report presented or submitted.
The Town Registration Smorg
will be held on September 2. Peggy
Bensmiller moved that RMHA takes registrations
at the Smorg ONLY, since registrations are accepted by mail. The
deadline is
September 2. Registrations received after that date may not be accepted
and
will be at regular prices instead of the early discount prices listed. Shane Leer seconded the motion, which was
carried.
Toni Alexander
reported that the new ice plant installation has been delayed, and that
ice may
not be available until September 13. This will cause problems for
scheduling
events.
It was decided to hold the
3 on 3, although the format may
have to be changed.
Dean Schweder moved that we
postpone the Goalie Clinic, and
look for a suitable time later in the season. Brad Dewing seconded the
motion;
carried.
Dean Schweder moved that we
order more pinneys for
evaluations and try-outs. Shane seconded the motion; carried.
There was a discussion on
jerseys. A committee will bring
quotes and designs to the next meeting.
The Referee Clinic is
confirmed for September 18 & 19.
Directors’ duties
will be outlined at the next meeting.
There was some discussion
on the budget, and how to curtail
costs. The concession is no longer making much profit for RMHA. We will
monitor
it closely this year, and if this trend continues, we may not renew the
contract with the Town to run the Concession after the current season.
The next meeting will be
held after September 2, TBA.
